El Encierro / La Fiesta

El Encierro – the Running of the Bulls – lasts just a moment: from 8 o’clock in the morning to approximately 10 minutes later. La Fiesta – the Partying of the People – lasts the rest of the day and night!

Your Travel Team landed in the middle the San Fermin festival in Pamplona, Spain. This non-stop, week-long party unites Palmploneans, Spaniards and Tourists alike. If you wear white clothes and a red scarf, you too are invited to join the party.

All shops, museums and churches are closed this week, as no-one in Pamplona wants to miss just a single moment of the party.

All over town, you can buy sandwiches, pintxos and drinks to go. Most people just walk/dance/party in the streets with a drink in one hand and a snack in the other.

You’ll feel alien at first; lost in other people’s party with a lot of noise and drunkards. After a half an hour and some sangria, you discover, that you were actually invited to the party – the question just remains: Will you accept the invitation?
